The UCSF Post-Acute Traumatic Brain Injury Program, a service of the Neurorecovery Clinic, focuses on supporting patients during the critical first six months of recovery after brain injury. To address the wide range of symptoms resulting from a traumatic brain injury, we include a broad team of specialists to meet the needs of each patient. We provide in-depth consultations and comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that are developed and reviewed by neurology and neurosurgery specialists, rehabilitation therapists and sleep psychologists in our neurology and neurosurgery departments.
